About security

Hi there,

I would like to ask you about how secure is NGL. Because installing it to a server the IT Department always ask about security etc.

NGL uses the following ports
1. 8080: Port commonly used for web applications other than port 80. Port used by apache tomcat
2. 5432: Port for Postgresql database server
3. 8005: Shutdown port. Port used by apache tomcat
4. 7001: Port used by SIP2 server.
We recommend that these ports be opened by firewall and rest of the ports (if unused) be blocked

In Postgresql's pg_hba.conf we strongly recommend to allow the library client's systems access only
