Attachments (PDFs, etc)

nsid
Hi all,

1) I noticed that trying to upload a pdf as attachment (e.g. table of contents) doesn't work.

As you see the pdf is being uploaded

I am getting the message that it was uploaded succesfully, but it isn't, as I check it again:

2) It would be great to have the option to add the attachments immediately after the item screen, just to make faster the workflow.

Regards,
Nikos

Hi,
Can you please make the following checks
1. On the Server
Open C:/NewGenLibFiles/SystemFiles/ENV_VAR.txt with Wordpad. There must be a parameter named as below
ATTACHMENTS_PATH=C:/DigitalAttachments
You can give any path here. I am using the directory DigitalAttachments in C: drive as example

2. On the Server
Create a folder named DigitalAttachments in the C: Drive. Also create a empty directory named CatalogueRecords in C:/DigitalAttachments directory

3. On the Server
Restart Apache Tomcat Server

4. Start the client again. Your digital attachments must work normally now

Thank you,

There wasn't this parameter line in ENV_VAR.txt so I created it. Now it works well.
