Configuring NGL3 to work with a hardware load balancer

Islam Dawood
Could you please tell me how to configure NGL3 to work with a hardware load balancer ? I know that we are having a Solr component that will require indexing the database contents on that component. And in case of a load balancer we will have 2 instances of NGL3. So, Please naswer the following 2 questions.

1- Should I use only 1 solr instance with 2 NGL3 instances ? and if so, how to do this ?
2- Or, is it Ok to have 2 Solr instances ? and if so, what should I do with the indexing ?

NGL3 is a J2EE Web application. Hence you can run multiple instances of Apache Tomcat and use balancer of Apache Tomcat.
However yes, the instances share same instance of database

I need to know how to configure NGL3 to have only 1 Solr instance ?
And, If I decided to have more than 1 Solr instance, what should be done in this case in order to make sure that all Solr instances have all data indexed ?

NGL runs 4 Solr instances
one for Bibliographic data
second for Authority Data
third for User profiles
fourth for discussions/forums
All are mandatory
