Customize OPAC (New Arrival)

Saren (Cambodia)
Dear NGL Team,

I want to get the last-est 6 books from new arrival in to my front page.
Is it possible?
The idea is want to create a New Publication Category and show the last-est 6 books from new arrival.
Please see my screen shot attached for detail.

Best regards,

Respected Patron:
Currently the system displays the list of new arrivals only in the "New Arrivals" page. The new arrivals are derived from catalogue based on a "New Arrivals in days" parameter from General Setup Parameters (Administration->Configure System).

Future Update: System will suggest a list of new arrivals. Librarian can add new records to the new arrivals or even remove records from the list recommended by the system. This list can be published on a OPAC page. Also we will provide a widget that can added to the home page. This widget will be a scrollable list of new arrivals
Regards
NGL Open Source Support Team

Thanks for quick respond,

Future Update it would be great for OPAC User.
By the way, I think it should have the way to query the new arrival from database.
If yes, can you please show me how to do that query?

Appreciate all your help,
Saren

Dear Rabab,

I'm not good at customize either.
Please go to NewGenLibFiles => OpacTemplates => default.
Example you want to customize Your Header (LibraryHeader.ftl)

Thanks
Saren

OPAC related template files are available in C:/NewGenLibFiles/OpacTemplates/default directory
all the files are in html format. You may apply your designs in these html files
