Generating Reports

In generating reports, what file do I have to choose in "Generate report to file"?

Another query, can I generate report stating all the transaction done by a patron in a specific dates?
And, can I generate report stating all the items borrowed in a specific dates?

Provide a file name(enter a name of your choice)
System will create a new file with the name provided and insert data into the same

can the report include call numbers since most of the libraries here in the philippines need to report what type of books and how many of those books are being borrowed.
i also have a program which i award the pupils who borrowed the most in a month, so i need to generate report for each patron with all their transaction in a specific dates.

Both these requirements will be handled. The NewGenLib Desktop Reports module is yet to be released. The new release will take care of these requirements
