LDAP Status: Local Status: Fail?

Hello everyone,

We are in the process of fully rolling out the NewGenLib system in our organisation and have hit a snag.

We have asked users to sign up on the OPAC. When they are approved using the Librarian Interface, and they try to log on to the system with the default password (abc), the following error occurs:

Login failed: LDAP Status: Local Status: Fail.

We are running NewGenLib version 3.0.4 Release 2 Update 2.

How do we rectify this?

Greetings from NGL Open Source

Kindly approve the patron records from Administration -> Configure System -> General (Menu) -> Membership Registration.

Select the membership you want to renew and Batch Update -> Approve

Any member registering for a membership will not become an authorized patron until and unless approved by the librarian
