We have installed and used NGL 3.0.2 on Windows XP on a PC since 2011.
We would like to migrate the system and data into another PC on Windows 7, and upgrade to the latest version of NGL 3.0.4. Please advise on the steps to do so. Thank you. Regards, Pek Keow |

These instructions do not apply for our case as we do not have NGL 3.0.3 in the PC that we are migrating to.
I have tried the following steps: a) Taken a backup of data in NGL 3.0.2, plain format (old PC) b) Restore the backup to the new PC using pgAdmin III c) Install NGL 3.0.4 R3U1 released in Oct 2014 in the new PC d) RunNGL3Server.bat e) Execute SQL to update Patron record '1' f) RunNGLClient.bat Outstanding problem: a) Unable to Search Catalogue (though the data has been restored) even after BuildIndex.bat Thank you. The problem on 'Unable to Search Catalogue' has been resolved by executing this file C:\Indexer\RunIndex.bat.
