All new Serials management module: The Serials management module is now more efficient and more user friendly. We made it simple and powerful for you. 2. A peek into the Serials management module a. Along with books, users can now suggest Journals to the library. These requests go through the same workflow as books b. Subscription list: List of serials to be subscribed either through order process or gratis or exchange process c. Firm orders: Raise orders for subscriptions to Vendors. This functionality also supports cancellation and re-ordering d. Receive Invoice: Receiving invoices for the orders raised. Also, receiving supplementary invoices is supported e. Receive Issues/Registering issues: Rapid check in of serial issues. A new screen has been added which list out all the expected issues across journals. You can also receive supplements, special, title and index pages, duplicate issues, and combined issues f. Binding management: Preparing back volumes or archiving of serial issues. This functionality has following sub functionalities: Preparing Logical List, Preparing Physical List, Raising binding orders, Receiving binding invoices and accessioning bound volumes g. Renewing subscriptions h. Routing lists: Now print routing lists for every issue received 3. Easily customizable form letters in Serials management: All the form letters of serials management are now migrated to Freemarker templates 4. We added more features to your NGL Auto EOD process. Your new NGL Auto EOD now automatically a. Takes a database backup every day. Its also backups all important files of your installation and also customizations b. Deletes old backup files to free up your hard disk space c. Does a database maintenance. This improves the performance of your Postgresql database d. Auto blocks patron accounts based on overdue material and overdue payable to the library 5. Your OPAC now searches Google books too: Federated search is now introduced in OPAC. Whenever your users searches in OPAC, system also searches Google Books and displays results 6. New Reports added: a. Library usage statistics: Patron category wise, Department wise, Sub Location wise and Course wise reports are generated b. Never used titles report 7. I have tried this. I got one problem in the OPAC when I generate the HISTORY OF A PATRON. I can't see the fine amount paid by the patron nor balance and also total amount. Please solve the problem. |
