Restore postgresql no data for search?

Dear Sir,

I am using pg 8.3 and I have to backup every weekend day..! but now I upgrade to use pg96, when I am restore by take the file from pg8.3 it seam work because I can launch the Newgenlib Server....!  but when I search for catalog it seem no data in it...! because when I search it just show 0 result...!

Please help me how to backup and restore it...!

after restoring you have to RUN indexer file which is available in C:\Indexer
