Respected Patron,
Greetings from NGL Open Source
NGL has a application called NGL Counter. This is especially for
tracking/counting visitors to library
We can help you integrate the ID cards(Smart Card)/Thumb
impression(Biometrics) with application, but following
clarifications are required
1. Does your Smart Card/Biometric hardware has LAN/Wi-fi option?
2. If yes, can it be programmed to send JSON/XML to NGL Server via
LAN/Wi-fi?
3. If no, can it be programmed to print Patron ID of the
authenticating user at the cursor? and also print a Return Key
(Just like Barcode Scanner)
4. Is there a mapping database between the authenticating users'
credentials and the Patron Id defined in NGL patron database?
Looking forward to serve you.
