Showing java heap space error

Hi

I have added a book by using in to the newgen lib.

When i searched for that book in the OPAC i found that book ,
but when i clicked on the name of the book the OPAC is showing the below ERROR.

[ServletException in:/jsp/carbon/aportal/cataloguing/SearchView.jsp] Java heap space' java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

Please help..

Hi, I hope your server memory is atleast 1 GB (RAM size)
Recommended is 2 GB
Please confirm

If you are on Windows XP or any windows platform, can you please close all applications except the Apache tomcat server and the NGL application
And try again

Yes am using windows Xp, i closed the application and ran it once again.
but it is showing the same error.

The error is also showing when i searched as "Free Text search" in opac.

Did you search for the book in Technical Processing -> Search Catalogue?
Did you get a result or encountered an error?

Hoping that the OPAC page is opening without any problem
Can you please use Basic search to search for the title of the book (do not use Free text)

Are you getting search results?

1. Error you are facing by clicking on title of the book
2. OPAC home page

I have increased my ram size to 2GB now its working fine.
I am working on further modules.
I shall get back to you for further doubts.
