Good day NGL team!
Even though I am aware that there is an inventory-taking tool in the Desktop app, I have yet to use it correctly as I don't know exactly how it runs. Can you tell us the steps on how to use it?

Step 1: Enter the accession numbers of those books which are
available in your library. You may enter one-by-one in the Accession
number/Barcode field and press enter. Alternatively take a text file
and enter all the accession numbers in the text file and using "Load
file" button load those accession numbers.
Step 2: Select a folder into which the reports have to be generated Step 3: Click on Generate report for the reports to be generated. List of reports generated are Click on the button "File names and their content": This will provide information on the file names and the content that is available in those files On 10/25/2011 02:02 PM, pedroparkero [via NewGenLib] wrote: Good day NGL team!

Good day! How does the sectional inventory work? In the text box "initial characters of classification number", does it take LC class numbers? Like for instance, if I just want to inventory books of which the call numbers start with "PN" in the general circulation section, will this utility work? Thanks in advance...

Hi,
Yes, it will work. It will do a stock verification of all items whose classification number starts with PN On 06/29/2012 05:06 PM, pedroparkero [via NewGenLib] wrote: Good day!
