Respected Patron,
Greetings from NGL Open Source See the simplest way below Step 1: --------- The example.php must be hosted on one of your local http server, that supports PHP engine. For example: Let us say that this server is called phpserver. To send SMS you call the example.php as shown below http://phpserver/example.php Step 2: --------- Let us change the example.php in such a way that SMS message and Mobile number are taken as HTTP get parameters. http://phpserver/example.php?mobile= 0213456789&message=Test Message Step 3: --------- Now in NGL Server go to C:/NewGenLibFiles/SystemFiles and open the file SMS_URL using a text editor. If such file does not exist, create a file called SMS_URL. Note that SMS_URL does not have any extensions. The content of SMS_URL file will be http://phpserver/example.php?mobile={0}&message={1} Step 4: --------- Now NGL will call the above URL present in SMS_URL file when ever there is an SMS to be sent. Instead of {0} it will send the Patron's mobile number (Phone II in Patron record) and instead of {1} it will send the message to be sent. Looking forward to serve you.
