Trying to delete a patron - Critical error

nsid
Hi there,

I am trying to delete a few patrons but I am getting an error "Critical Error".
The patrons don't have items on loan or something else.

There are other patrons that I can delete without problems.

I just found here: http://forums.newgenlib.org/How-to-delete-patrons-category-permanently-td7573171.html

"that once any sort of transaction has taken place on a Patron Id, it cannot be deleted. And hence the Patron category. However in the future versions we will be providing forceful deletion of Patrons even after transactions have taken place"

Is this forceful deletion working?

According to library rules once any sort of transaction has taken place on a Patron Id it's not the right thing to delete.

Anyway you can delete the patron if that patron doesn't have any transaction history.

Some people may do mistake by creating wrong patrons and doing transaction on that id's.

in this case you can use force delete option which available in NGLClient interface.

Hi again Sonu

Where is this option (force delete option) in 3.1.2 version?

Thank you for helping!
