Unable to launch both launch application and desktop application

Sir,
As you have instructed for my previous message regarding ngl 2.5 launch desktop, I did. But still it did not work for launching desktop. Again I uninstalled completely and reinstalled it on the machine, both manually and ngl 2.5 self installer on windows xp, but this time both the launch application and launch desktop is not opening where as opac is opening. I am unable to get where the fault is.
Please reply on an urgent basis.

From the screen shot attached I can tell you that
LaunchApplication will download a jnlp file which is automatically run by Java web start of JRE 1.4.2
However your Internet Explorer has not identified the Mime type jnlp. So either
1. Restart your system and start the server again. Now launch the application.
or
2. Launch the application using firefox. Firefox will download the file LaunchApplication. Now select this file, right click and open with javaws.exe file in your j2sdk1.4.2_XX/jre/javaws directory
