Version 3.0 series released

[Verus Open Source Support]

Book covers are actually picked up from Google books, LibraryThing and OpenLibrary
These are stored in NGL302/BookCovers directory. They are stored with their ISBN as file name.
Scan the cover of the book and store it with a file name same as the ISBN (with out any spaces or dashes and .jpeg is the file extension)

hello,
i'm trying to install newgenlib on vista sp2.
everithing works fine until i get to connect to localhost:8080/newgenlibctxt.
I get a tomcat http 404 error. I checked the logs and i get an error message saying that web.war could not be found and indeed there's no such file. How can I get it working properly? and if anybody can help me, i have another problem with it. I have xampp running and i disabled the xampp tomcat server to get the newgenlib tomcat server running and it works. Is there a ay to deploy newgenlib into the existing xampp server?

Hi, I'm having a similar problem where my http://localhost:8080/newgenlibctxt/ gives me an error of:

HTTP Status 404 -
type Status report
message
description The requested resource () is not available.
Apache Tomcat/6.0.32

I do not have a web.war file in C:/NewGenLibFiles and I do not have any of the files [newgenlibctxt.xml, apache-solr-bib.xml, apache-solr-auth.xml] (as listed in Point 4) in directory:C:\NGL3\apache-tomcat-6.0.32\conf\Catalina\localhost\

Please let me know how to fix this if possible?

Hi,
Please do the following
1. I am attaching a file named NGLUpgrade.jar. Download this file
2. In InstallNGL303/upgrade303/upgradejar directory you will find an old NGLUpgrade.jar. Delete it. And copy the attached jar in its place
3. Please run Install.bat after this procedure.
