ldap access ?

vincenzo
Hello evebody,

Suddenly my users have no access to the OPAC.
They get this error:

Login failed: LDAP Status:  Local Status: Fail

However I did not configure any LDAP auth (nor I found any reference on how to setup it).

How do I force NGL NOT to use ldap ? Where do you configure these parameters ?

Did you upgrade the system to NGL 3.0.4 R1 U2?

Version Information: NewGenLib Enterprise Edition version 3.0.4. Carbon(Release 1 Update 2)

Out of curiosity I tried with the default pw abc: it works !

Seems like NGL reset all passwords to the default one (if so, why the ldap error ?)

Rightly pointed out. We need to change the message. In fact if there is a LDAP login failure (If LDAP is configured) then status of LDAP login is shown. Even after the LDAP login success if there is not local user record in NGL database then login failure occurs
We'll change the failure message in the coming update
