Thanks! It seems that the server is running in the background without a cmd window. (Because it was set in WinXP's scheduled tasks to open at a certain time). I needed to restart the computer so I can initiate a new instance.
In cases like this, can I stop the server without a cmd window? What processes in the task manager should I end?
