Accidental duplicate check out of the same document for the same user

For one user same document (with same accession no. and call no.) has been checked out twice. And there are about 20 user accounts for which samething has happened. But the document cannot be checked in as Newgenlib refuses to check in. Few times I deleted those entries directly from the database. But it's very difficult to find all of them. Is there a easy way to delete those duplicate entries?
