Binding management questions

Good day! I would like to ask something about the binding management:
Do I really have to verify all the documents in the order? You see, we sent a batch of books for binding to our binder, and the next day we also gave her a 2nd batch. After a week, she only returned some of the bounded books and said she will return the rest tomorrow. Now I can't check in the books she returned because it appears I have to check them all in or nothing will be checked in. Is this correct? Is there any way around this? Thank you in advance.
