Process to enter Old Journals
Step 1: Technical processing -> Search Catalogue and Search for the Journal
Step 2: Select the Journal and click on update holdings
Step 3: Now beside the Items information table, you will find a button 'M' means more. Click on it and select Textual holdings. This will open a box with a text area. Enter all your old issues here. You can enter it as a string. See the below logic to enter it
For example: You have 50 volumes. That started in 1950. You can enter it like this
Vol.31:Iss.1(1950:Jan) - 80:12(2001:Dec)
You can see that you covered 50 volumes in a single string. Place the above string in textual holdings
Suppose let me say you have Vol. 42: Iss 4 missing or not received. Then the string will look like this
Vol.31:Iss.1(1950:Jan) - 42:3(1961:Mar), 42:5(1961:May)-80:12(2001:Dec)
