newgenlib installation problem:

Sir,
i am unable to find "C:/NGL3/apache-tomcat-6.0.32/bin directory" in the installation location to run "RunNGL3Server.bat".
Kindly help in this issue to solve the problem.

Hi, Your installation did not run completely.
1. I hope you gave the password as newgenlib while installing postgres
2. If yes, please check config.ini. It must be
DatabaseUserName=postgres
DatabasePassword=newgenlib

The user name & password is same in the config.ini file which you have mentioned.

Ok.
Do one thing, Open Terminal (Command Prompt).
1. In the Command Prompt  go the InstallNGL3.0 directory (using cd command)
2. And type Install.bat and press Enter
3. You will see a message "Build failed", But above that you get a series of statements that describe the error. Please copy that and send it

Sir,

I started installing freshly again. While installing PostgreSQL i am getting an error "Invalid username specified:Logon failure: Unknown user name or bad password.".
I am unable to continue the installation.

1. Close all programs. I am presuming that no postgres installations are there in your system. If yes, remove them from Add/Remove programs in Control Panel
2. Go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Users and Groups
3. In Local Users, you will find a user postgres. Delete that user
Now start Postgresql installation again

After starting of NGL Server, when i try to check the installation for working by clicking this link "http://localhost:8080/newgenlibctxt", i am getting error "HTTP Status 404 -".

Hi, Your installation is not complete
Please run Installation.bat from Command prompt and send the error

1. Go to Windows Explorer and go to the directory C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\
2. In this directory create a file named output3_0_2.sql  An empty file without content. Be careful about the extension

Now run Installation.bat again
